We are going to Las Vegas for a week between 12/22/2011 and 12/29/2011.
What is there for kids to do in Las Vegas? Boy with age of 6 and girl with age of 14.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

Pinball Hall of Fame
Hoover Dam
Mt Charleston
Stratosphere
Adventuredome at Circus Circus
Roller coaster at NYNY
Red Rock Canyon
Valley of Fire
Mandalay Bay shark reef
There are many all ages shows that are family friendly

Also, there are many parks in Las Vegas or at Town Square. You could bring a ball or just take them there to run around.

In my opinion worse place in the US to be between 18 and 21.

YOu are ready to fly a little but the front is well established against you. Anywhere else a nice looking 18 year old can pass for 21 if she wishes.

I used to be absolutely amazed at these sultry creatures that would leave my house to go pub crawling. I am not sure I would have picked up my own daughters in a crowd. But I had 23 year olds flying cover.

But in Vegas they really do card. And they really don't let the underage in unless some juice.

So you have to convince them that they are still high school students and want to see Hoover Dam or the new museum or Pinball paradise.

Want to solve the Las Vegas unemployment problem? Drop the drinking age to 18. For at least a couple of years we would all be rich and famous.

Well hell... I have yet again been no real help.

A couple of comments-

1. Adventuredome at Circus Circus-

Data Point #1- July 4, 2009-- Three kids (ages 6, 15, 16, and 18)- Huge crowds (90 minutes in a SpongeBob line, etc.)- When we were leaving, one of the kids (the 15 year old, I think) said, in all seriousness, "we shall never speak of this again..."

Data Point #2- April 2011- Just one kid with me this time (the almost-8 YO)- Notwithstanding the "we shall never" comment above, we tried it again, AND HAD A GREAT TIME! Rode the water ride 15 times, and the bumper cars about that much. Didn't want to leave!

Bottom Line- The 14 YO might not "love it," but if the crowds aren't bad, I'd expect you and the younger kid would have a great time.

2. Indoor skydiving- I'm not sure if there is an age limit, and it's a bit expensive, but my 6 year old did this in 2009, and had a great time. My 15 and 16 YOs also did it, and also loved it.

3. Stratosphere- If your 14 YO is adventurous, the rides at the top are great fun.

I've been with my kids to Adventuredome twice. One was on a Father's Day and one was on Nevada Day. You would figure both days would be busy but they were not. My 12 yo son and 5 yo daughter loved it.
