I would think it one of the standard problems. Alcohol is quick and efficient...but other drugs often take a while to run down and then the results may not be clear.

I suspect you are asking because you are looking for a job in that field. I have said this before. Construction trades are dead as a door nail here but there is a great demand for electricians at this time. Mostly in the commercial end of things. Normally Unions do not hire. Employers hire and if you are hired you have no choice but to join the union. That is a good thing.
It is a little bit different now because of the demand for electricans. Give it a shot. Knock on the construction trailor door and see what your move is. Make it clear you are a first rate electrician and see what happens.
