I look at that picture and I have many memories of good times, good times. And wearing out multiple pairs of shoes.

On the subject of that picture: Not being a Las Vegan (Vagasian? Vegasite? Vagaser? What is it?), but a frequent visitor, it is the first picture I've seen that really shows the relationship of the area around the Stratosphere to the "Strip". I'm not sure most people realize it's not a straight shot, mainly because they're walking for ten miles to get there.

The LV valley is full of beautiful scenery, and lots of little pockets of activity. You will find there are lots of locals that rarely go to the strip area. 20 mins in either direction you can be taking in some beautiful mountain views, hiking, horseback riding, boating, choosing from an abundance of dining or shopping establishments and lots more. Just like anywhere else there are areas you don't want to go, and areas you will love spending time. With great weather most of the year and no shortage of sunshine it can be very enjoyable even without ever going to the strip.

And just in time to balance all this happiness about LV, here comes Men's Health magazine to help you decide on your moving decision:

Good observation. A lot of people don't know that the strip has sort of a lazy curve to it.

Speaking of sad, do you spend half of your time looking for negative things about Las Vegas to post here and the other half watching the pot you're stirring?
