I wonder how the Vegas population would be without ex-California residents? Maybe half?

Can't we just build a moat and fill it with piranha?

I don't know, but hearing a city built on tourist's money complaining about the people cracks me up.

But totally understandable, I use to live in Southwest Florida

Default Well...

Denver got it's share of Californians in the nineties...the only thing that stops them is seeing that the place is too full of them!

This was the question here in WA state in the 80's. Eventually with the return of home values in CA to somewhat real, that will slow down. Even now though, how can you blame them from taking their equity and buying twice the house for half the price, to live in a place with far less taxes, overcrowding, and smog?

Best reply yet.

I knew a bus driver once who said he loved driving the bus but wished he did not have to pick up people.

O.K. - let's get serious for a moment. Check the economic stats. They clearly show states with positive immigration are successful states. States with negative immigration are failing states. Which would posters here prefer Nevada be?

Bill

Negative immigration with positive tourist flow. I love Kalifornians as long as they just VISIT and leave their money.
