Hello.
I was looking through the codes on the las Vegas site and could not get an exact answer, lots of info so maybe just missed...

Want to have a slab placed in the back yard. Yard is odd shaped in this part, and it is the side yard. Is there a code or restriction as to how close to the side wall you can place a concrete slab? I would like to be able to have it go right to the wall.

Sorry, a large slab taking up a good portion of a side side yard. Prob about 200+ sq feet.
Will be a play/recretion area (small b ball hoop, ping pong, etc).
The outer side would go against the wall separating our nieghbors and the inner side would abut a patio with pavers.

No, sorry, I don't know for certain. One of the neighbors I get along with has a slab right up to the wall. But I don't know if he has a permit for it. And since he's one of the neighbors I get along with, I'm not going to pry.

Call the city and ask them about any code issues.... that would be a much better source than an internet forum.

No one is making construction decisions based on a forum, I would hope.
But this IS an excellent first step an way to gain insight that would help in future.
