Moved into our new house a year ago near Aliante (Decatur and Grand Teton) and highly recommend softener AND reverse osmosis. I bought both my units on-line for a total of $702 (I edited the amount, I looked-up my invoice and this is the correct figure including shipping) and paid someone to install. Don't regret it for a minute. We were buying bottled water at Costco like crazy seemed like two cases a week. Now we just go to the tap. Also bought re-usable bottles that we fill and place in garage fridge so we can grab one as we're heading out the door.
