I see listings for 250-500 a month in and around Las Vegas. I guess coming from NJ where you can't get anything under about $800 this seems so tempting. Are they in the not so desirable areas?

Where do you see apartments for $250 a month? I pay $350 for a studio apartment that includes cable, phone and internet. I still have to pay for electric though. I do not live in a good area, but I do feel safe here. I have not had any problems and I have lived here for a year.

I don't need anything fancy personally but I would never live in an area around this town for less than $500 a month. I pay 600 at the moment for a middle of the run area and like it just fine. Pay $250 and you're in the worst of the worst area. And if you're not, the apartment is probably a giant POS.
