You can call it 21 if you want to, but I think your idea of being a dealer is out until you learn something about gambling. The advice to get a job in MI is solid. I'd do that before coming here.
you are correct Buzzzz.....Blackjack requires an Ace and a BLACK Jack to get 21. In Nevada we play 21. But I get so tired of fightin the OOS Invaders

Hi Buzz,
You got me mixed up with the OP I think. I am the one who knows nothing about gambling and always called the game 21, but I am not the poster wishing to become a dealer. I write for a living, am in my 50's and have no desire to work in a loud casino.

yay! (doing happy dance) So I have it RIGHT!
When I was a kid, my dad taught us how to play 21 and we used matchsticks to gamble. I stopped playing it years ago because I pretty much suck at playing cards. I am just not into it, nor am I good at it. I DO like people watching at casinos though and watching others play cards.

Thanks for the response, and you are right about getting to know the land marks and mountains but as a taxi customer I would be a little hesitant to ride with a driver using a gps to get around. Not very good for business or tips.

I would much rather drive with a driver who had a gps, than someone who had no clue. But, I understand what you are saying.
