We are retired and ready for warm weather. I see on weather bug that there is usually a 10 degree difference between east valley and west valley (west being cooler). Does anyone know if there is a senior mobile home park in the west valley area? Thanks

There are some nice senior mobile home parks, in the West is Flamingo West
East is Tropical Palms and in Henderson is Mountain View. Mountain View is a rent to own, and so is Tropical Palms.

Here is a pretty good website that hosts mobile home properties both for sale and for rent all over the US. I have visited the ones I mentioned and they are nice. http://www.mhvillage.com/
The Communities I mentioned are all gated, Flamingo West is guard gated, and the others have some kind of security in place. All the properties are well kept much better than some of the stick built properties. I have some to be in better condition than some of the regular rentals as well, the companies that own these completely refurbish the mobiles inside and out once a tenant moves out. They all offer fun things to do with the people living there. These are as nice as any of the other active adult communities in and around Las Vegas. And the rents are allot more affordable for the senior on a fixed budget.

I wouldn't worry about temp difference when it's 110 degrees or a 115 degrees it still feels hot. During those times your either in a air-conditioned property of some kind or your car. All of these communities have nice rec-centers and pools and gyms.

Good luck in your search.

It's more like 5º difference most of the time. But keep in mind that it's also colder in winter, so that makes up for it.
