Hello Everybody:

I wanted plan a trip to Vegas in September but I seem to have no one to go with. I wanted to possibly go by myself to Vegas if I had to. Does anyone think it would be just as fun to go by myself? Or do you think it would not be wise to go to Vegas by myself? I have never been there before. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

Depends what you're going for. If you're a hardcore gambler, planning to gamble the whole time, sometimes going alone is better that dragging a softcore gambler around like a ball and chain. Otherwise, I would think it would be much more fun with friends, or a partner.

If you're a female, I would not recommend going alone. It's not that's it really unsafe...but there's a lot of scammers out there. It's nice to have that "has your back" in those situations.

Kinda depends on your general personality. If you're able to have fun by yourself outside of Vegas, I don't see why that would be different in Vegas.

I go to Las Vegas by myself all the time, and totally enjoy it. Been doing it for years. I spend some of my time gambling, some of it playing tourist, and some just relaxing. I also enjoy photography as one of my hobbies, and that is something I can do by myself while I'm there. I think not having any real schedule to follow while on vacation, is nice, and I never get bored.

Now, you must understand, that I travel for a living, and therefore, I am very comfortable being out on the road by myself. If you don't like traveling alone, you probably won't feel very comfortable on your trip, no matter how much there is to do.

I grew up as a only child so I don't mind doing things on my own. The advantage with going by yourself if since there is a lot to see you can pick and choose what you want to do without worrying about the other person. There are also plenty of social situations in which you'll have a chance to interact with others from playing in the casino to any of the lounges/night clubs.

I've been to Vegas with just myself and someone else and than once with a group of friends. The only problem with the group I found was finding something everyone wanted to do, in fact we had the most fun when we split into smaller groups of 2-3.

Nobody can answer the question but you. But for advice on things a single person might enjoy we'd need to know if you're male or female, and about how old, and what activities you enjoy. And I'm sure you know how to use Google to find out what there is to do here. Try that first and then ask for opinions on different things so it will be easier for us locals to reply. BTW: The name of our city is LAS Vegas.

Okay well here's a little more detail about myself. I am a 32 year old male who will be traveling from Richmond VA. I have alwyas wanted to go to Las Vegas and see how it really is. I went on Google and saw for the month of September that there will be magic shows and some comedy shows that will be going on. Those are two things that I am interested in seeing. As well, I want to partake into the nightlife and go to a couple of lounges. I like adult entertainment as well. So I will probably want to go to a peep show or a gentlemens club. I should be fine going by myself the more that I think about it. I'll just watch my back and move cautiously.
