Is there a way for me to find out whether the teacher from CCSD has been terminated online??? Will they say "yes" or "no" if I call and ask ?

I would think that most are terminated face-to-face.

They are public employees so with enough digging you could probably find out. If you really want to know just call and see what they say. They might not tell you why someone no longer works somewhere but it's likely they would tell you yes or no if they are still there.

Call their central personnel office. They can tell you if the person works for them or not. Thats all they will provide.

Someones doing something wrong then. I would ask them to cite the policy that does not allow them to release that info. How would another potential employer confirm employment?

The closest I could find is a public records request...and employment by the school district seems to be a matter of public record.

I work for a very large government agency in California and we have to disclose if the person works for us or not. But thats all.

It appears to be a public record. You can find their last years salary at...

So I would presume their present one is a public record.

Why do want to know if someone was terminated? It's very difficult to get terminated from CCSD.

The teacher was arrested for theft. this person was in jail for 5 days(Jan 2nd-6th I think) and lost his teaching license because it was expired on Jan 7th, 2011. This person is not teaching at Liberty HS and attending UNLV to take a few courses before getting his teaching license back. I still don't know if this person is on payroll or not. That's what I m trying to find out.
