Husband and I are coming this weekend and were looking for some recommendations on where to watch the Super Bowl. Not too crazy, just a cool sports bar type place. Any ideas?

Also, where should we make sure to go out to eat while we're there? It seems so overwhelming to try to pick places online, how about some recommendations from locals? On the strip preferably since we won't have a car.

This place - Las Vegas Entertainment Shows Nightlife - The Palazzo Las Vegas Resort Hotel Casino - should suit your needs, but plan to get there early or you won't get a seat.

As for a restaurant selection, you'll need to more specific on what you're looking for - type of food, price, etc. There are literally hundreds of choices.

I know, that's the problem!! We like everything basically, from fine dining to burgers. I was just looking for a few suggestions on anyplace, really.

There is an upscale (although somewhat pricey) burger place at Paris, Las Vegas Restaurants and Dining at Paris Las Vegas, that also could be a decent place to watch the game and eat the same time. Very good food and lots of TVs.

This is Las Vegas, we don't have the Superbowl. We have the Big Game.

I loathe watching sporting events in lud places!!! I like to be able to hear what the commentators are saying, and I like it talking but enough where I can hear the announcers. That has what has always bothered me about sporting events in clubs/bars. Granted if your team scores a toucdown, or your cornerback/safety does an incredible reception, or someone gets a great sack on the QB, then yes scream all you want to. But everytime these people just scream and yell and there isn't anything going on its rather annoying.I prefer to have a Super Bowl party at my house, with my friends, and my tv, and my food. I also cannot stand smoking(please God, why haven't they banned this in all inside places yet!!) and many people smoke in these places. Have a drink...cool. Smoke a cigarette and give me cancer, not cool.
