My husband and I are relocating to the Las Vegas area, any info on what the pay rate for LPN's would be very welcomed.

I've been a LPN/LVN for over 17 years, mostly private duty, nursing home and neuro/rehab experience.

Also what is a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment renting for there?

Thank you for any info forth coming.

I don't know what the pay is for a nurse but I understand it is pretty good. I have friends in Colorado whose daughter got her first nursing job in Las Vegas right out of school making more than her mother in Colorado who had been a nurse for 35 years. It didn't take her long to get even better jobs either.

Why don't you already have a job secured? It should be pretty easy since the hospitals and others are begging for help. Maybe not so much for your husband though. That's going to be a little tougher.

My husband already has a job and I'm still in the process of getting a temporary licenses to practice in Nevada.

Would really like info on the pay rate and on rents there.

I don't do pay rates...but rents...

Money rears its head.

Below 600 per month you gotta work out a room mate or rent a room or such.

600 - 800 You can rent an apartment or a condo in a marginal neighborhood.

800 -1000 You can rent minimal condos near strip and in lower but nice burbs.

1000-1200 Nicer near strip and widely available condos in the burbs. Threshold of small single family residences.

1200- 1500 Nice condos in the burbs. Reasonable SFRs 1500 - 1800 SF

1500 -2000 Fancy places. Lofts. 2500SF houses. Good Summerlin and GV.

2000 + Whatever you want. Servants start at around 6000.
