Can anyone suggest some decent golf courses? I'm not looking for something super fancy, just a decent fun place to go with some buddies.
Oh, and not really expensive.

Thanks

Try Angel Park. They have a 12 hole course that's inexpensive and challenging called Cloud 9. Well, challenging for those that like to play for fun I suppose. Both times I've played there though, I've been extremely hungover, so that could be a reason it was challenging.

Depending on which part of town you want to play:

SE/Henderson-Wildhorse, Legacy, Boulder Creek, Boulder City
NW/Summerlin-Angel Park, Painted Desert, Aliante, Silverstone, Palm Valley, Highland Falls, Eagle Crest (executive), Durango Hills (executive)
Central-Las Vegas National, Las Vegas Golf Club

If you want to walk and chug beers, you can play North Las Vegas which is a lighted par-3 course at the intersection of Cheyenne and North 5th Street. Good beginner course with the longest hole being 150 yards.

Not a golfer (I'm a go-fer ─ for Carol) but aren't the city golf courses the best for price? Las Vegas has four. You can Google North Las Vegas and Henderson. Here's LV Parks & Rec: Find Parks and Facilities
