Does anyone know of any good restaurants/folks that can provide for a party of 20 people some basic stuff like Fried rice and a chicken dish (General Tso's, Kung Pao etc) at really reasonable price. We are in Summerlin area but we can pick it up elsewhere also.

Thanks

You can easily get Kung Pao chicken and fried rice for 20 at Panda Express.

Most Chinese restaurants will make party trays. Our company uses Panda Express.

Good take-out Chinese food is hard to find in LV, IMO.

IMO. On my 10+ trips there looking for good take-out...we were always sorely disappointed. We gave up on finding good chinese take-out there. Somebody even once posted here that they can't get good chinese like we have it in the northeast.

Actually we do, New York Chinese on West Lake Mead Blvd in Sun City Summerlin is just like the Chinese you get back in New Yawk. I would suggest there to the OP, also, Panda Express (a lot of folks's favorite) does a nice job with their party trays.

Welcoime jfk, tell your brother about it, he doesn't live too far away from it.

Got some while my sis was here a few weeks ago and she said "tastes like what we get back home"

While I don't see Panda Express, or Cook On Wok, which is even better, as authentic Chinese, it's Chinese-like, and I eat it for convenience now and then. But wouldn't authentic Chinese be from, ohhhhh, let's say, CHINA??? How is it that New Yorkers think authentic Chinese food comes from New York?

If you want good, authentic, Chinese food, I don't know the name of it, but in the indoor shopping part of Chinatown is an alfresco (somebody else used that term) restaurant that is really good, serves lots of food for little money, and none of the owners are from New York (I don't think). And you can get take-away.

(Disclaimer: it's not technically alfresco since it is an indoor patio and, by definition, alfresco means outdoors. It's alfrescoish.)
