I wondered who peed on your Cheerio's when I read you snippy reply. Maybe I should start going by the screen name of DadDad? I was basically trying to point out, one's stomach is just so large and if you pay $23.00 to fill up on shrimp, lamb and prime rib, one might get their moneys worth but if some of that stomach space is devoted to a bowl of soup and salad greens, the restaurants gonna love you. Three posters took exception to my calling the drive a "killer" whereas Pink just supported me that from Aliante, it was 40 minutes roundtrip. And my point to that being, in 5 minutes I have many choices at Boca where one can get the same amount of quality food a person is capable of eatting for a little less money and a much shorter drive. Can you find something to argue with me about that?

I had a snippy reply to you? Oh my, we ARE becoming quite personal with the attack, aren't we?

Give me and everbody else a break.

Others said the drive was no big deal either. And you are the one with a problem about who drives where to go eat salad and soup at a buffet. You are the one with a problem, lady. Go re-read YOUR posts!

If you don't like what three posters other than Pink replied, then put them on IGNORE.

Lighten up dear and go out and enjoy yourself, have fun with your friends and family and enjoy!

I don't like nor do I eat any type of seafood and since I always go to the M on the weekends, I really enjoy the soups and salads at the buffet. I don't drink either and avoid caffine so I only have water with my meal.

They have a nice selection of good salads and other great items even on seafood days and I never go home hungry.

Of course I've never had to pay for my meal since the M comps me, but I would probably still go there if I had to pay.

When is the ownership changing? I would like to try the buffet before that happens and I will be in LV in a week for about 10 days. I don't mind the drive, gets us out. DH is not of fan of traffic, but he will venture anywhere too.

the m has already been sold to Penn... they are waiting on their license which should happen on the 24th..

however, we have been told then Penn intends to run it on bare bones and as soon as the economy comes back, they will sell it.... kinda like Carl Icahn

Hmmm. That is too bad, I loved it the one time I went there. So, then I would miss the excellent buffet then? I wouldn't think they would mess it up in a couple days, but...then again....

Are you looking at working at another casino, then?

I really don't want to leave the M as I have met ALOT of nice people there however, the Cosmo is closer, pays more, and is not in financial trouble.. However, i think the Cosmo is going to go all out (5 star???)
