I'm entering the Hilton supercontest this weekend and I want to know if the sportsbook takes credit cards. Just want to make sure there are no weird gaming regulations that prohibit this.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I don't want to get out there and then find out I need cash.

BTW, you can get a cash advance off most credit cards at the casino cage, but be warned that the interest rate on a cash advance is usually much higher than it is for purchases. Your best bet is to just bring whatever cash you're going to need.

you can get a cash advance from the cage.. the charge is usually 3% + 1.95..... plus since it is a cash advance, your credit card company will probably charge you max interest.

Although this is irrelevant now, since the contest has started and you can no longer enter, casinos usually take credit cards on contest entries provided there's enough time to be sure the card is accepted. You can't use the credit card for a contest entry if the contest is going to commence in a few days. If the card is declined, that gives the casino enough time to delete the entry.
