I'm a big fan of Goose Island - IMO one of the best micro breweries out there...I tried Bourbon County Stout, I think it was, from Lee's...13% alcohol by volume. Hated it, but if that sort of beer is your thing give it a shot.

But their Matilda and Demolition are two of my favorite beers - both Belgian ales @ 7% alcohol. I should have them special order some for me.

Lees also carries Delerium Tremens beer. 9% booze. And tasty! Little pink elephants adorn the bottle. It's also one of the few places that carry good lambics.

I also like la fin du monde! Yum! When I do a beer flight/pairing at home for friends, I get Well's banana beer as a dessert (goes well with strawberry banana bread). If lees is in trouble, so am I!

If I could. I would buy stock!

Default Still sinking

Lee's continues to run out of everything. No half gallons of cheaper scotches...no Drambuie...

This is both the Rancho and Lake Mead stores.

There is clearly trouble in Lee's world. The help are now refusing to talk about it.

It appears to be the whiskey class stuff that has trouble...wine is much more available.

Vasislos? Has Mr. Lee run out of cash/credit? How are the other Lee's being stocked?

Inquiring minds want to know...is Lee committing all his resources to beating off Total Wine?

Hard to believe that Lee could crash...but who knows...
He is...Total Wines is blowing them away big time. ( a dear friend of mine in the wine business and in the know about such things here in town told me that)

I feel bad for Lee, he WAS the only game in town for a long time.....

I have never even heard of Total Wines so I looked them up. There are only 2 locations in Vegas compared to 13 for Lee's. I have a feeling only the Lee's that are in the vicinity of those two Total Wines locations are hurting. I go to the Lee's on 3840 east Flamingo once a week. It is always fully stocked and packed with people.
