Whooo Hoooo
we are closing on our house next week! It was a short sale so we are getting nothing fixed on it by the seller. The good thing is it really doesn't need much work
  • I need a recommendation for Electrician (or someone who could install light switch). There is a light switch missing on one switch (only wires showing).
  • There is one window cracked but it really isn't bad and we could live with it but if it is reasonable to get replaced we will.
  • a housecleaner or service who could clean the house well before we move in.
  • a gardener - have small patch of grass in front with some bushes and desert scape in the back which really doesn't need much work.
  • I got recommendation for a pool guy already - thanks to the forum!
Thanks from your soon to be neighbor!
you can also DM me too....

I use Angies List for almost all my contractor, etc. type references and have good luck. I recommend Angies List. You have to pay (I think it is around $20/yr), but I have easily saved at least that much.

I second Angie's List. I haven't had a negative experience using a contractor from that list since I moved here.

Once a year I would get in Flat Rate House Cleaning Services Las Vegas | Organic Services | - they send a team, do everything you ask. Deep clean, etc. - reasonable prices.

For lopping palm fronds, other gardening - Home Depot. Down the parking lot...you know what I mean.

Electricians - I always ask friends nearby. However I haven't needed one but do know a decent plumber in Spring Valley.
