Totally sucks

What does this mean for the rest of us Casino employee's?
As basically strip properties are the "Monkey-see...Monkey-do" types.

Also, anybody know someone personally affected by the cuts? Details?

Thanks, Firm

It is nothing to worry about. I found the article on it. Basically, they are getting rid of 261 workers to restore full benefits and hours to everyone else. 261 people being laid off sounds bad, but it is only 3% of all the workforce at Wynn. Basically, they are just restructuring is all.

I think it's something to worry about for the 261 laid off. They just lost their paychecks.

Nah, they can just collect unemployment checks for the next 2 years. That seems to be the current trend.

I hear they laid off on merit, instead of seniority, which probably means they got rid of most of the 'dead weight'.
