Not meant to be comforting. It is simply they cannot climb out of a tub once in it. So a natural trap.

Doesn't matter if they live in the desert because no matter where they live now, it's probably certain they have 1000 times more bugs than we have.

Bugs and snakes have never been a serious problem in Las Vegas, but now we have rats thanks to inported landscaping material. I have so far, in the past maybe four months or so, whacked seven rats that I know of. I have a theory, since both my neighbor and I have seen them duck into a culvert down the street, that the storm drains have become a superhighway for them to reach every part of town.

And didn't Tent City move down there? If so, probably doesn't help.

Tent City is slowly but surely moving back to Foremaster Lane. The cops don't care anymore. Can't remember the reason why they originally cleared that area up.

Anyone remember?

I remember them talking about how they wanted to get more businesses there but that no one would because of it and it was filthy and full of rats, lice, roaches and other such nasty stuff.

Found this guy inside yesterday. Almost the size of a silver dollar with legs extended. Any ideas?

They were trying to help the business owners who were complaining (and rightfully so). Retail space is really cheap right now. The people that own businesses down there should probably just get out and sign long leases on some vacant space elsewhere.

The poor are always going to be with us. They have to stay somewhere. At least on Foremaster they are close to services. I don't think spreading them out all over the valley did anybody any good.

Maybe a wolf spider. Did he have long eyelashes?

For past a few years here, experienced black widows 2 in garage-spray killed on the spot; scorpions in house less than 5-vacuum cleaner got rid of; roaches/sliverfish a few dead; pigeons trying to nest on roof overhang and droppings, the worst part, have the exterminator to keep them quiet.
