It's gone off my antennae. No idea why.

I had difficulty receiving some of the stations with internal digital antennas I had connected to individual TVs in my home. I purchased an outside digital antenna at Best Buy for $100, mounted it near the cable junction box on the side of my house and wired it directly to the cable TV input, and now I receive every broadcast channel (HD & digital) through the cable lines throughout my house; its fantastic. I've heard many people say that if you live at the base of Black Mountain where the broadcast TV transmitters are, you cannot receive Ch. 3 - NBC.

Its just amazing that you ever lived your life carrying around all that extra weight (Or watching hours and hours of tv every day).

I used to think TV made me happy, until I got rid of it. You have no idea how much better life is without TV, until you stop.

I have netflix now (And an antenna for local news, emergencies), so my daughter can watch her kid shows, and I catch the occasional movie. There is nothing in the world that would make me trade my now $9/month tv bill for my old $100/month Directv bill.
Hallelujah brother!

Anyone have any ideas? As well, what we may require.

Thanks.
Another thing you can do is get DirecTV at your primary residence, set up a separate DirecTV receiver dish at your condo in Las Vegas, and transport your DirecTV set top box with you when you visit Las Vegas. Your set top box doesn't know if its at your primary residence or your vacation home. It works. Just remember to take the set top box back home with you when you leave Las Vegas!

Just a followup to those interested:
We bought a second antenna and pointed it at Pahrump and got 18.1, 18.2, 18.3, 18.4 after hooking both antennas together with a cable splitter, so we now have these four stations plus the ones indicated on the posing above. Very happy with the results. Both antennas are in the attic so no wind to move them around.

I bought one of the Monoprice indoor HD antennas. I can get most channels except 8.1, 8.2 or 8.3. Can some tell me the best indoor antenna to buy without breaking my wallet? I really only want to get channel 8.2 for MeTV.

Default Antenna

I'm no longer getting 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 5.1, 5.2 with my attic antenna ( it's been several months since I had these stations). What antennas are you cord cutters using? Also my TV scans 18.1, 18.2, 18.3, 18.4 but only 18.1 seems to be transmitting. Any help appreciated

I am getting every one of those channels perfectly plus more. I put this $40 antenna in my attic with this $20 signal booster. I split it out to 5 different TVs around the house. I placed the signal booster right before the main splitter.

I pointed my antenna using a free android app that used GPS to help me point the thing perfectly; there are several apps that do the same thing.
