I currently live in Tarpon Springs, Fl. and I want to relocate my son and myself to Tn. I was thinking transfer to the Home Depot in the Sevierville area. I am a single parent and want to show my son that there is more to life than just Fl. (I'M BORED). Any suggestions on housing, school, Home Depot or just general information about the surrounding areas. We are very interested in all outdoor adventures. We are starting new lives together and I want this to be the best years of his life.

There is a Home Depot in Sevierville http://www.homedepot.com/l/Seviervil...erville/.../73.. If you scan down the thread topics you will likely find you can answer all of your questions about that particular area. At the bottom of the page, you can always go back pages to look at older topics.

Sevierville housing and schools has been covered many times.

Sevierville is extremely congested much of the year because of traffic to/from the resort areas around the Great Smoky Mountains and Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. You'd probably save yourself a lot of headaches by relocating to another nearby town.

There is a Home depot on Chapman Highway in South Knoxville where you'll find less expensive housing and much better traffic conditions. There is a local trail network and you are also on the way to the Smokies. Good elementary schools.

If you are in management and make a good salary, look at Maryville TN as well.

Seymour is a good location to live and work either in Sevierville or South Knoxville.
