Right. That was a good effort and great turnaround for the end of the season.

Everyone is so excited about how the season ended. We were at Fantasy of Trees when the game ended and an announcer came on the PA system to announce the score and that the Vols were "bowl bound".

It was good to watch Pat Robinette from Maryville play QB for Vandy; one of his last college games. We watched him play growing up and he is a good kid, young man now.

I love how Tennesseans love their team.

That was an awesome game. I figured they'd win, but by a FG or a score, not the stomping that it ended up as. I think this is going to give Butch a lot of legs on recruiting in the near future.

When are the UT-UAB tickets at LP Field going to be available? Does anyone know? The game is on September 5th.

I think Butch had great intentions. I think he's a good guy who really wanted to bring the program back. To a limited extent, he has done that. It is in far better shape than he got it. The team has clearly lost confidence in him, and now we need a coach to take the new, healthy baseline back to what is expected of TN football.

Butch did a good job rebuilding, but the job is just too big for him.

The 41-0 loss to Georgia is unacceptable. Tennessee needs to get heads out of rear ends, the football into the end zone, and wins trending upward.

Tennessee has no game this week. The next game will be Saturday, 14 October, hosting South Carolina.

I do not know if making a head coaching change mid-season could help the program trend upward, and who from the immediate staff could be an interim head coach.
