Thanks, everyone. DH really is amazed that so many are thinking of him. It always amazes me, too, that such a group of fine people are here on TN. forums. We are so blessed!

Sometimes when you have surgery you are up and healing, then you are "bonk". We do appreciate your prayers, especially on these "bonk" days.

Hang in there, hiknapster. The check from your broker is in the mail!

I am FINE American, propping up the economy with my foolish purchase. I am sure I am holding off the Saudis. Yes. Yes, I am. Thank me later.

You know, I could have bought a sofa with my stimulus check and been done with it. But no. I am made of sturdier stuff.

Anyone want to volunteer to pay my $1,200 a month payment?

I thought not.

What a bunch of Patriots.

Talking You are a true American, hiknapster.

As Americans, Hik, we all thank you for saving the US economy from certain disaster!

The house will last much longer than a sofa, so you made a wise investment in my humble estimation.

$1200.00? (Gulp) Ahhh, that's nothing! (Gulp)

Well, I'm exaggerating. It's actually $1,116.00. So there. That's not so bad.

Thanks, tinman. Unfortunately, the cost of gas to go fetch and bring it home will probably be equal to my first month's mortgage payment.
