Oh gosh yes, but you have to choose carefully. I'd say 20-30% of homes have views, 5-10% have spectacular views. Either the Smokies or the cumberlands, a few homes have both. If you are looking for a view home, plan your search in the fall or winter when there are more days with clear air.

Yup.

Nice view in Timbercrest (just off Lonas Rd, East of Weisgarber)

We used to live off Robinson Rd and on a clear day, there were really nice views of LeConte.

Thanks for the info everyone..I would assume that its kinda hilly then in Knoxville....Im just trying to figure it out..I did a google earth but its kinda hard to tell...We are moving to West Knoxville area on Sept 1st...

West Knoxville is a bit flatter than some other areas of Knoxville but it does have some hills and a few views.

The views are the best when its cool and sunny in Knoxville and you can look out and see snow on the mountains.

The only thing I miss about the last job I cared about in IT was working on the South side of the TIS building and being able to look at the mountains from my desk. I loved watching the snow on the mountains while it lasted..
