It is a Mockingbird remember. They imitate many different birds, so that may be why it seems like 2-3 different birds.

Probably was a mockingbird. We had one that sit on top of the streetlight every night and sang his little heart out. Drove us nearly crazy! I sometimes hear them after dark where I live now too. I've always been under the impression they are more likely to sing at night if there's a light source like maybe they confused the streetlight with the sun?!
