I was thinking of having my 8yo's birthday at a bowling alley this year.

I am in Kingsport. Our bowling alley here is ok, but I was wondering if there are any nicer ones in JC.

Also, do they allow smoking inside the bowling alley? I have allergies. The one here has no smoking allowed inside.

Not sure... but what was that old bowling alley that was on the east side of Kingsport on 11W that they demolitioned? That was a neat old building, I thought it was a shame it was crushed.

They are both run by the same people. The one by target is older and busy - call ahead. Both are nice enough. No smoking inside, but smokers often congregate right outside the door. You may have to run the gauntlet.

Have you considered Fun Adventure, or whatever it's called (big arcade, batting cages, go carts, laser tag, and mini bowling).

I've heard there is only one bowling alley left in kingsport... how is it? Do they have any specials like quarter games late at night on weekends, etc? When I lived in Maryland we had a bowling alley that had a saturday night special, $5 entry and then quarter shoes, games, hot dogs and sodas....would love to find something like that again whenever i move down to KPT.... if possible.
