We take our pups to a place in the city, but I've heard good things about Olathe Animal Hospital (though I think they're pricey!)

Stay away from Oxford Animal Hospital (135th & Switzer). They killed one of my dogs years ago.
I think Fairway Animal Hospital is possibly the best in the city, but it is not Southern Overland Park as you requested.

We go to Pam Truman at Metcalf South Animal Hospital at 105th and Metcalf in OP. She's wonderful. We actually live a lot closer to the Spring Hill Animal Hospital, which we hear rave reviews about -- but we don't want to switch vets. Pam Truman does conventional and holistic practices, by the way. The groomers at both clinics are excellent, too.
