Not surprised.

If I won the lottery, I want a Porsche Cayenne, Jaguar F-Type Convertible, Toyota 4Runner, and a BMW 640i convertible.

The initial quality survey is a feel goody study of new owners.

Longer term studies have routinely anchored Jaguar near the bottom although they've been improving over the years once they started using so many FORD components.

So, you are definitely correct that they are moving in the right direction.

Just stay away from new platforms for the first 1-2 model years, but that goes for almost any manufacturer.
