Does anyone know the cheapest place to find either Pindo or Date Palms (not the Pigmy or Robellini kind) in Jax? I used to go to Grand Island Nursery on Beach but they have closed.

I want someone who actually has done their research to compare prices and found that the one you name has the best prices.

I had two 8' tall single stock Robellini's in my front yard but due to the wonderful winter we had they died. So I'm done with non-cold hardy palms. I really wish the Robellini's were cold hardy though b/c they are the best looking in my opinion.

Thanks,
Nick

The last couple bigger palm I purchased came from the Orlando area.Check out the Orlando Craigslist.I have been growing may own the last few years.I buy the seedlings online. In two years I have 3 to 4 foot palms ready to be put in the ground. The places that had been setup on west Normandy and 103rd,don't have any inventory this spring yet.Last winter must have put a real hurting on the businesses.

I found a place on Southside Blvd. called "Palm Trees By Trent"

I'm getting 2 Pindo's overall height 8-9' with 3 1/2" clear trunk installed for $700 w/ 1 year warranty. Each one is $350 or $100 per foot of clear trunk...which is dirt cheap!!

I have tried to use Palm Trees by Trent for a property that I was managing and they were not responsive- very hard to get calls back and no follow through. Another manager had the same problem. Maybe they are hungrier now, as that was a number of months ago.

Skinners is great, but you would need to have your landscaper or a master gardener make the purchase, as they are not retail. (904) 538-9988
