BTW, I think its funny that the OP has replied to several comments since & never the ones that mattered most (asking the source for their statement). Thats some classy stuff right there. FlyiMetro, you should prob stop making bogus threads.
Quoted for future reference. Don't edit your post Kerry.

Yes - but places like Nordstrom and NM have some very specific requirements. X number of people within X miles of store with more than X in family income. No way to pull it off in JAX. Robyn

Durr, OK.

Look, if you know some kind of inside scoop, then great. Tell us that & stop playing games. Im not even saying you have to divulge who told you this, JUST SAY SOMETHING or quit the BS & wasting people's time.

Cause right now all you've done is make a thread with generic blanket statements where you've made something out to be factual without providing anything whatsoever. So tell me, why should anyone care what you have to say on the subject??

BTW, I never said it couldn't be true. Everyone knows this has been oncoming for years now.

Since it appears that we have established that Macy's is not scheduled to be here any time soon, maybe we can close this troll thread.

You'd think so wouldn't you. I love how trolls can just do anything they want in this particular forum & its all good, but as soon as someone makes the slightest "rude" comment, oh look out!

Someone needs to actually take care of the board better around here. This thing is days old & still here. No excuse for it.

Noticed that the original poster hasn't been heard from lately?
I guess he is in hiding ever since we asked him for a source. Before then he was all over the forum.
I agree with Kerry if you can't post a link or reference a source, get lost.

It's because they've had no way in. Macy's expands by buying other department stores. They bought Federated Department Stores, which was the parent of Florida's Burdines and Georgia's Rich's, among others, neither of which had stores in the area.
