I am looking for beach access just to get sun and excersise. I would be going by myself so looking for someplace not as busy as well as too much trouble to get to with just a chair and book in hand. I lived in Neptune Beach for a few months but to go now where to park??? then to just go to car would be a hassel I would think

I am new to Jax and a few times went to the park (off Hecksher Drive, not sure of name) I liked it as I could put my chair right next to my car. Any others like that. (not just cars allowed) but not so much a hassel to get to.

I am in the Arlington/Regency area now.

Seems silly now that I reread it but basically if you are going to the beach by yourself where would you go??

It is kind of far from you, but I love Ponte Vedra beach if you are going for exercise or a picinic. It is never crowded (heck, you may never see anyone), and it is shelly, so you can run in the sand without getting your shoes all dirty. You park across the street from the beach in this easy-to-miss lot that is free. Here is a picture of the beach so you can see what is looks like on most days:

Wow....how do you access that beach? Great pictures. Going south on A1A from JTB, where do you turn? I want to go there!
