But if BP were to ever go down to 15 or lower in the future
It won't go that low - it would get bought out before that. I agrre with the call on XOM though. They're a screaming buy right now.

Yep, screaming buy. They are closest to their 52 week low right now. And they can't go any lower

Haven't you heard of the general rule, if it hits 52 week low and the company is a rigid one, time to buy a 100 shares

A 30 year old guy like me has nothing to worry about. No family or kids yet. This is the prime time for playing.

While BP continues to crumble, christmas is coming early for XOM. I am wondering if I can diversify and put some money on Royal Dutch Shell. They might stand to gain too. Or..... if XOM does not buy BP, RDS might.

Thoughts?

The drillers are definitely a buy. My positions from March 2009 are now negative They have been completely oversold.

So with the criminal investigation starting at the close of trading today, can we expect BP to drop more or perhaps stabilize a bit? Any thoughts? The volume today was so heavy that it can only be explained by institutions unloading massive quantities of shares. Short of Warren Buffet unloading all his money in this stock, I can't see any valid reasons for it to turn around until August at the earliest.

I mean can you see the corruption in the schizophrenia...Up 200, down 200...

It's only a traders market, they make it on the up and down, and could give a rats donkey on the customer/better.

I'm really glad i went to cash and commodities and dumped the 401krap, what a con.

I'm no Nostradamus, but I would be shocked if BP stock didn't drop below $30 in a few days.
