that is so true, they do target people who really need to work. It seems like they all jump on the band wagon to scam people, so many out there doing the same thing. their scam was to get you to "pay" for "postage" at $1.99..it was just a way to get people's card numbers..once they had your card number they put in for much more than the $1.99... this scam wasn't about not being google, it was a way to steal money from people..believe me, they took much more than $1.99 from our account..the only thing I am grateful for is we will get it back.

Absolutely. Sometimes people spend so much time worrying about protecting their information online that they forget that every person they write a check to has their bank account number and every waiter or busboy who sees their credit card receipt at a restaurant has their card number, and in some cases the code on the back. What the internet has changed is that it has made it easier for this information to be obtained en masse and sold overseas, where the criminal is less likely to be caught.

TV and Radio are also assisting in gettin people ripped off. Have you seen the TV comercial for finallyfast.com, or heard radio adds for a similare servcice? These are scams to relieve unsuspecting people of their cash, in return they get crappy software which doesn't do a whole lot and often contains mal/spyware. It's sad that the radio and TV industry is more concerned with getting advertising dollars and allows this type of advertising.

I agree, you can even see disclaimers in the small print that they can not be held accountable for fraudulent ads. I wish they would at least try to verify prior to allowing a potential crime to take place. If we can so readily spot fraud, why can't they? Blinded by dollars.
