Not sure what else to do. When I download then and start using them all of them run slow. But the Opera browser doesn't which is odd. I don't want to use Opera anymore because it's a lot of things that I can't do when I'm on that browser.

Anyone know why this is happening? Thanks

OK, we'll play your game after you convert the following into English:

NFN, this seems to be a repeat of one of your earlier threads:

Let us review your posts from that thread:

Super Fast and never any freezes while you are on the web. Chrome is TRASH and Firefox is even worst

Not sure why you like Chrome, freezes every 5 mins

I uninstalled Opera and installed it again and now it's even better

The super speed of the browser makes up for that minor issue

Well I wish someone can explain why Opera works so well for me and Chrome/Firefox doesn't? We all know it's not my computer because Safari and Opera allows me to surf the web with no interruptions.

Well someone recommended it to me and I thought it was a NEW BROWSER since it was working so much better than the other browsers. And I always been the type of person who liked to share information with others if I feel the information is beneficial.

When you say what verison of Chrome what do you mean? What other versions are out there?

Just to speed things up a bit in this thread, from your other thread (Post #39) it was determined you had an infection, the dialogue:

Quote:
OK, we'll play your game....

~ what website?

~ what version of Chrome?

~ what OS and what version?

~ what options are enabled in Chrome?

~ what AV software do you have installed and what are the options?

~ what malware software do you have installed and what are the options?

~ what spyware do you have installed and what are the options?

~ when was the last time you ran a full system scan (and with what progs) with current defs?

~ have you done any research about this issue and what other people have done to fix it?

Here, I'll help you out a bit................

Quote:
I was able to solve it via removing the tdss rootkit. This nasty bugger evaded avs, avast, microtrend, malwarebytes, spywaredoctor, and a few more I can't remember.

The big tip off was when I tried a full antivirus scan, avast crashed with a ugigenskin error. forums say to goto avast.ini file and set something to zero I forget. Doesn't work

How to remove malware belonging to the family Rootkit.Win32.TDSS (aka Tidserv, TDSServ, Alureon)? <- my solution

my atapi.sys was infected.

Please review your other thread because this one is the exact same problem.

https://www.city-data.com/forum/inter...b-browser.html

You refused to answer anyones questions in the other thread, all you did was make wisea** remarks and called people names...

Did you uninstall and reinstall it? It worked for you before:

Did you answer my question?

So the question is, has this and any other accompanying infections been cleaned up?

We need another clarification, please translate the bolded red text into English:

When using the Opera browser, there are certain websites that doesn't allow me to use certain features. One of those is T Mobile.

Still can't answer a question can you?

OK, lets do this in baby language:

~ On the T Mobile web site what feature(s) are you trying to use that doesn't work?

~ Have you reviewed any documentation T Mobile has on their web site concerning it's usage?

~ Do you get any pop up windows with errors?

~ Any errors displayed in the browser window?

~ Did you ever remove the rootkit from your system from our other dialogue in your other thread?

I know asking about you trying other browsers is useless with you as you say they are all garbage, their flaws so glaring you can't possibly use them....

And if you would, please explain to us why the topic of this (your) thread is:

Need Help, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari won't perform well on my Dell laptop

But it morphed into you can't use certain features on certain web sites using Opera after it was pointed out to you you have posted this exact same topic once before, refusing to answer anyone's questions and calling people names....

Inquiring minds want to know....

I was not told how to get rid of the rootkit from my system.

The feature that I am unable to use on T-Mobile is the Parental Controls feature. When I try to enter the phone number of someone I want to block from calling me I can't enter the number.
