I've received an unusual gmail from an account I use specifically for a hobby. A small amount of Craigslist selling locally is involved, and my fish club membrs are on this gmail. I have no issues with anyone through this account.
The email is from a yahoo account asking me not to use his email and he's reported my gmail to Craigslist.
Is this a con? Has anyone seen the likes of it before? I.E. someones trying to verify the account? Sambot? The accounts been sold?
I've responded nicely through a gmail account that I can eliminate if it turns out to be a continuing problem. Puzzled. I haven't seen anything quite like this.
By-passed email and Craigslist came up with a big red page. First guess was right. I just hadn't seen this before, and my C. ads with that gmail had a grand total of three "old fish gear" ads. Nothing controversial. Case closed.
