About how long is the drive from 86th st and michigan to downtown?

20-25 minutes or so depending on how many red lights you get stopped at

or you can go north a bit and jump on the 465 -> 65 to downtown, may be slightly faster depending on where you want to go.

I have done it for over 5 years; it seldom took me more than 30mn. Sometime, when heading south, I turn right on 62nd and go south on Cooper Road then Kessler south, I either continue or get on 65 from there.

It isn't that long of a drive, but I hate driving on Michigan. There is no left turn lane so you are constantly having to stop or change lanes - also a ton of accidents for the number of cars. I avoid Michigan at all costs.
