Are there any fun, walkable neighborhoods in Indy? I'm looking for something a little diverse. Walkable to grocers/bars and the likes would be great!

I may be taking a position in Fishers so I wouldn't be entirely car free, but I do want to keep the urban lifestyle I've got now.

No, it's all cookie-cutter, car-oriented, bland suburbia 'round here.

I'll be brief for now since we've discussed this any number of times before, but if you have anymore specific questions feel free to ask. The answers are Broad Ripple, Mass Ave, Downtown, and Fountain Square.

You could search out these areas:

Broad Ripple
Fountain Square
Mass Ave / Mass Ave. / Massachusetts Ave
Irvington
Near eastside / near east side
Fall Creek Place
Herron Morton
Old Northside

Or do a forum search on walkability or walkable.
