Thank you! I want to AVOID the suburb. I'm not a fan of the cookie cutter houses, and the "competing with the Jones" attitude that goes along with the suburb.

Frankly, there are a lot of cookie cutter houses near Mooresville also. You'll find that "keeping up" attitude there also. It's not like it's not a suburb.

I was working in Mooresville last week. LOTS of cookie cutter homes.

What about Franklin, Indiana?
its a old community in Johnson, County and I-65 takes you right up to Indianapolis and Downtown Indy.

I want something that is no more than 30 minutes from the city. If you can't tell I have a leaning side with Mooresville. Because Greenwood is much bigger, and imo not a small town at all. After doing more research I'm pretty positive Mooresville is exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks for all the suggestions though!
