Does anyone know of any modern homes for sale under $200,000 in the Indianapolis / Fishers area?

Define "modern". If by modern, you meant built in the last five years, then yes--there's a whole bunch of 'em.

Modern style like this:

It doesn't have to be a newer built home, I have seen alot of neat 1960s modern homes. Somewhere near the 230k range is fine.

Have you considered building a pre-fab or modular modern home? At the price you listed it MIGHT be able to be done. The final price would depend on the cost of the land to build it on. Just a thought

These are probably the most modern houses I've seen in Indianapolis, but I'm not sure on their prices. I noticed a while ago that they had houses for sale.

Check out the very modern house on Keystone west side around 70th. Looks like a tear down and rebuild. Once a year the local architects have a home tour of their homes. Very interesting.

Atomic Indy has a "MCM Homes for Sale" section.

Mid Century Modern Atomic Indy

Plus if you dig that style, you'll enjoy their website.

Edited to add: Just surfed over to their site and saw most of the listings are out of date! May want to shoot them and email and tell them to update that section.

Baz runs the Atomic Indy blog as a hobby. Listings on the site are promoted as a courtesy. Agents and sellers don't pay for the posts, and until they do it's a bit far-fetched to expect anything that's beyond what one person's time and effort will permit.
