Those who oppose SB1070 disgust me, because they seem to want to allow scum like these to roam the streets. That officer had a family and was a great patriotic American.
Bill White and his Sanctuary City policies, have made Houston an illegal alien trespassers haven.
Just think if he does get elected Governor. Texas will be screwed so hard, the Battle of the Alamo will be a volleyball game in comparison.
The thing that sucks about illegal immigrants being prosecuted and found guilty is that they have to be fed, housed and jailed in our prisons. That costs money. It'd be nice if they actually found a way to reduce the number of illegal immigration, so we don't have to have them in the prisons. So, yea, it's great to get people who do these things off the street, but if they weren't here, we wouldn't have to put them in our prisons. "Life in prison?" How many illegal immigrants do we have in our prisons? It's ridiculous. So, in essence, they are still getting funding from the U.S. government.

Some say Rick Perry is even worse. Well, at least I think that. Though I do agree with your assessment of White and ILLEGALS. It's the lesser of the two evils. A double edged one... They are both politicians they lie to the masses to get the majority of the vote. I think that Perry is worse though. JMHO. I'm from Houston, so ILLEGALS are everywhere. Perry lost me when he started talking about succeeding from the Union. WTF?
