Senator Jeff Sessions has requested John Morton's immediate resignation.
"If he can't enforce the law he shouldn't have the job. He should be grateful for any help he get's regarding illegal immigration and do the right thing in enforcing the law. If they are not going to cooperate with AZ's, it seems he is to be in cooperation with Calderon and Obama."
(close paraphrasing)
More to come I am sure.
Maybe morton, calderon & obama are sleeping together.
Mr. Morton, in a diplomatic way, said... its our job to deal with immigration, and we dont need Arizona[or any other state] telling us how to do our job.
Really? Don't need anyones help? Really, can he say that with a straight face and explain how we ended up with 10,000,000 illegals then? Can he explain how we can deport the same person multiple times? Can he explain how it is that ICE can't seem to count their ballz and get the same number twice? Because from where a lot of us are sitting ICE looks pretty darned inept at their job.

Yeah!
But isn't the number ACTUALLY more like 40 million plus??

Along with pretty much every other federal government agency.
This statement from Morton says it all for me:
The best way to reduce illegal immigration is through a comprehensive federal approach
That's how all pro-illegal politicians and commentators respond to any criticism of their positions on immigration. Just saw the exact same response from that NPR broad on Fox News Sunday when Chris Wallace asked her about the Federal Law being much more strict than SB1070. This is a stock answer used when they don't want to answer a valid question.

You are right, it is predictable and means nothing.
10% of mexico's population is in America, most of them poor non contributors to this Country but siphoning of our hard earned tax dollars while they send the billion or so back to their own country. No wonder calderon doesn't like AZ's law and no wonder Americans are upset.
So almost half the population of Mexcio is in the US?
(or 14% of the US population is illegal)
The fictional number keeps getting bigger, like the pure BS.
Prove the number is fictional.
I inquired . . . you've made a bold statement that the number is "fictional", so please, back it up.
The actual number of illegals in America could well be 30, 40 million or more (many are like roaches, hiding in nooks and crannies) . . . and it is a cumulative number based on migration over years and years . . . it's not like 40 million Mexicans jumped over the border all at once, but that's what you're implying by deducting that number from the population of Mexico.
I believe the population of Mexico is now somewhere around 115 million.
And a reminder for you that not all illegals are from Mexico.
What else about this topic do you consider to be "BS"?
