The USA is just an ATM machine to him and a lot of others I guess.
That’s it in a nutshell. They have no desire for U.S. citizenship. They only want what this country can offer. That is one reason the so-called “path to citizenship” is such a farce. With amnesty, illegals will get what they want. . . the legal right to remain in this country to suck us dry. Once they are satisfied, they will eagerly return to the “hellhole” they fled with full pockets to build their dream homes or start businesses. They have a “slam bam thank you ma’am” mindset. I am truly nauseated by their brazen abuse of this country.
Mexico should improve its wage scale and working conditions so people will want to live there
I agree with the former Governer of Arizona.
He added, “We have abandoned Latin America. We spend all our time in the Middle East. We need more diplomacy. The presidents of Mexico and the United States should meet more often. Mexico should improve its wage scale and working conditions so people will want to live there. Our country should make an effort to help Mexico with this.”
Wow, I could have told you this....until you shut down the employers, you wont shut down them coming, period. I dont care how many anti illegal immigrant laws you target them directly with.
[quote=Nea1;14011285]I personally love the last line in the story. Says it all.
"Life there is awful, but I don't go to the U.S. because I like living there," he added. "I go because I like dollars'

This quote should show everyone the type of people we are getting. We are getting people coming to this country who don't respect our laws and only care about taking jobs away from law-abiding Americans. We need tough sanctions on employers who hire illegals and we need them now. There are too many unemployed in this country for us to be welcoming illegals.
I am all for LEGAL IMMIGRATION. If you want to come to this country, do it because you love America and not because you want to take low paying jobs. We need immigrants who can start businesses and not more low-skilled workers.
There are many things in Mexico that make me angry and frustrated, the two main things are.
1 our government and corruption
2 the looser and whinner mindset of some.
The exact same things wrong with the USA.
I agree it would be better to go after the employers - no one has sympathy for them. But since I have been to Mexico, I know it's not a terrible country or a terrible way of life there and I also know illegals who are here but want to eventually go back - because even though they like the money here, they love their country. When it's time they'll go back and won't complain, even if it's when the INS tells them its time to go home.
Some illegals aren't too bad, they're here working for cash under the table but they figure it's temporary, they'll go home sooner or later, they're not demanding anything.
The best thing would be for people to work to improve what they don't like about their native country - although I also believe that some people are born in the wrong country, for example I know 3 separate individuals who went to Spain to visit and felt they belonged there so went back as immigrants, permanent residents - legal of course. They felt drawn to that country for some reason.
Legal immigration is good because it helps bring in people who truly want to be part of this country, and who respect it's laws.
But people who march around here with their foreign flags, acting like they're proud or that they care anything about it but the next moment are running down, proclaiming is horrible and it's impossible to live there don't impress many people.
