WASHINGTON -- The Obama administration is launching investigations of hundreds of businesses around the country as part of its strategy to focus immigration enforcement on the employers who hire illegal workers.

But instead of cracking down with well-publicized raids featuring dozens of agents storming a suspect business or factory, the administration is sending a simple form letter identifying businesses as potentially being in violation of immigration laws.

Obama has chosen this method over raids because it's blatantly obvious that he's way more interested in continuing to hispander to these illegal alien future Democratic voters, if he can get them amnestied, than actually deporting illegal alien future Democratic voters, if amnestied. A deported illegal alien obviously couldn't be a future Democratic voter, if amnestied, until they break back in, of course. After all, the career Democratic politicians have been blatantly hispandering for so long, it would be a shame to actually have to do any effective enforcement of existing immigration laws and **** off La Racist and all of the illegal mexicans and waste all of that blatant hispandering, wouldn't it. Just dog and pony stuff for the gulible sheep. Going after employers is fine, but Obama refuses to embrace E-verify, so how is the gov going to prove that the scumbag employers of illegals knew that the illegals fake documents were fake without E-verify?

I'm not going to criticize this because no one will be able to say they weren't given fair warning.

If Obama sends a letter to an employer breaking the laws, that gives them time to get their act together and verify social security numbers and so on.

As long as the next step if the employer chooses to continue breaking the laws is much harsher, then I think a First Warning is a good idea.

So last year we sent out 503 letters and this year we're up to a staggering 652 letters. That should put a big big dent in the hundreds of thousands or even millions of scumbag employers who hire illegals. More of "for show only" very non effective useless enforcement as demanded by the ruling elites? Just how many letters a month is the very non transparent Obama regime really capable of sending out? What is the projected impact of these letters? What is the Obama regime going to do with the resulting hordes (numbering apparently only in the hundreds) of unemployed illegal mexicans from these letters? Deport these illegal alien future Democratic voters if amnestied? Hardly. Will this be maobama's main attempt at controlling illegal immigration? Appalling.
