Exactly, this isn't about amnesty for 12-20 million and THEN we will secure the borders. It's about taking yet another huge leap toward open borders and down with evil America. It was a sham in 86' and it will be now as well. It's time we trade in our goldfish memory for the elephant.

All the illegals in the US are here mainly for jobs and the money to send back home to Mexico. This money is not spent here to buy consumer goods etc. It has the effect of a one way travel.

All those here do not desire American citizenship...what for?... they are Mexican citizens for life as it is regardless where they reside.

If anything ...they should have a special ID that identifys them as being resident workers with no entitlement to American Rights under our Constitution or any Social Services Citizens receive.

Since they do not pay into our Services as Citizens...they are NOT entitled.

A green card holder is a Legal resident...pays into the system...allowed to receive social services if needed but cannot vote in any election.

As a former green card holder was asked my votor preference for a President but answered that I was not eligable to vote not being a Citizen and could not give any political preference.

Steve

He not only doesn't have the votes ;he doesn't want the fight after seeing the reaction to the last reform that included amnesty. People want the laws of teh 80;s reform enforced.

If Maobama says that the doesn't have enough votes to go ahead with amnesty for the 20 million non deserving illegal alien future Democratic voters, if amnestied, then why is he saying that he is going ahead with amnesty? Well, maybe he's just hispandering?
