Federal agents surrounded the hotel in the 100 block of South Stanton in Downtown El Paso Friday.
The investigation has been underway for at least two years.
ICE agents raided the hotel almost two years ago to the date. ABC-7 archives show about 50 illegal immigrants were caught at the hotel in March 2006.
If only we could read more articles reporting on events like the above more often.
Of course, events like the above could've likely been avoided if E-Verify became a federal obligation for all businesses but then again Pres. O(pen) b(orders) a(nd) m(ass) a(mnesty) wants those votes and political support from those pro-illegals, amnesty peddlers and ethnocentricists.
If only we could read more articles reporting on events like the above more often.

In reality;
If an Illegal applies for amnesty, if lucky, it may take him or her up to a year to get a work permit.
If the work permit arrives, then the former Illegal has to apply for a temporary green card, and if lucky, he or she may have to wait for around one to three years to see it.
When the temporary green card arrives, now they can apply for the green card itself, and luckily they may see it after an additional two to four years.
After the green card arrives and they want to become citizens, they will have to apply for it, and again if lucky, it may take another four to six years before they receive it.
The new citizens would be eligible to vote then. But by then however, Obama would be long gone even if he was to win his second term.

The Federal Agents would have a field day here in California.. Check out the touristy areas: L.A., San Francisco, Monterey, The Napa Valley, etc.. The hotels and businesses hiring Illegal Aliens are a dime a dozen here..

President Obama supports a Comprehensive Reform Immigration policy. The policy would allow would-be Illegals or anyone else for that matter the chance to apply to be here legally. Every applicant would have to return to there country of origin however, and apply there...
So the analogy that Obama would open the borders and have illegals stream in and get amnesty in-mass, is not only silly and dull-witted but dead wrong just as well.
