We as a nation have a right to determine who we allow in. What the standards should be. Just like all other nations we have a right to enforce our laws. UNlike most other nations we give legal immigrants citizen like rights. The right to own land, work in civil service jobs and to eventually become citizens.
Now explain to me again why we need to be even more accomidating?
Especially to illegals?

You must realize that Americans acquiring new skills to compete will have no effect on the number of foreign visas granted as that's based solely on bought off politicians providing scumbag employers foreign workers that will work cheaper, no more no less. The incoherence of the rest of your post speaks for itself.
