NBU: We Have Failed Our Children - A Study in Stupid Parenting by Thomas D. Segel , 4/5/09 (http://newsbyus.com/index.php/article/2513 - broken link)

"In the Science and Engineering field, we have had two million baby boomers become eligible for retirement in the past year. However, our education system has only produced about 200,000 qualified replacements. Where once it claimed a solid 1st Place, for the past three decades the United States has ranked 3rd in the world in science and engineering graduates. Our current graduates and those in the pipeline are so few that again our worldwide position has shown a marked decline to 17th place."

"Why is that important? Those who make a study of future work force needs tell us that 80% of the new jobs created in the United States today require some form of post secondary education. Finding suitable American candidates to fill those positions is becoming more and more difficult. It is estimated that by 2020 there will be a shortage of 14 million post secondary educated workers. Colleges are not filling that need, and only 52% of Americans have achieved the level of education needed by today’s work force."

52% of americans have achived the level of eductaion that is needed by our workforce, and were TALKIN about the legal immigration so if there legal how come they get paid less and still pay taxes.

again FOREIGNERS ARE MORE HARD WORKING they BELIEVE in the american dream more then the bums here blaming everybody for their faillures.

the single moms who dont pick the correct husband, the drug addicts, the children getting obese by watching television and playing video games, the couples that give up on their relationship instead of showing commitment to their children of what a nuclear family is....we want to judge the immigrants who are the most hard working, and ask for so little.
and if you said other wise oh well. I can tell you that my general descriptions that I have applied in one way you and all of you have help the status this great nation is.

Most of the negative traits that you described are endemic to illegal aliens in particular.

Face it: we have enough homegrown trash----------we do NOT need additional imports from Mexico or any place else.

"Asian-Americans urge Obama to reform immigration"? I'm not surprised. EVERYONE wants to 'reform immigration'.....they just have differing definitions of 'reform'.......
