I guess those illegal pandering types will spin anything, since they can't argue against proven fact any longer. Pro-illegals always resort to the same predictable tactics...Either go on a rampage and call anti illegals recist monsters, or try to spin the illegals so they appear to be wholesome, family oriented folks that just got a bad break in life.

No. So why isn't there a forum for "illegal" immigration. Oh, wait, that's right! Because illegal immigration is a type of immigration. Shoplifting is type of crime. Shopping implies a barter system. Thus, the basic definition is gone. However, immigration implies leaving one country for another...illegal denotes the method.

It's not spin, it's logic. Just going by definitions. Spin is trying to convince people that illegal immigrants are the reason behing massive crime spikes. This thread is more "spin" than the above post that was quoted. Actually, the post about my post was more "spin" than my post.

Don't try to inject logic in this discussion. They have an anti-immigrant dictionary they derive they definitions from.

Illegal immigrants can't rightfully be compared in any way to legal ones. Although you may view illegals as some sort of subset, they're not really similar to legal immigrants at all. 1.) Illegals illegaly entered, live, and work here. Legal immigants are regognized tax payers and legal employees, recognized by the US government. 2.) Most legal immigrant already are or desire to be US citizens. Most illegals don't want anything to do with the US way of life, culture, or language. Often, their lifestyle would bar them from citizenship. 3.) Most legal immigrants are productive to the US through their educational and (or) occupational endevors. Most illegals COST the US taxpayer far more than what they contribute. Is it clear now?

1). Many illegals pay taxes, many citizens do not pay taxes...taxes are not unique to being legal. 2). Again, not unique to being legal. Also, how can you tell if somebody is illegal? There are illegal immigrants in our nation's universities. However, many legal residents have no desire to obtain citizenship. 3). See the 2nd one. Plus educational endevors is also based on class. The more money you have, the better schools typically are (better school district). Also more money for college. This one is also touching on class issues as well.

Still regardless, the FACT remains that illegal IMMIGRATION is a type of IMMIGRATION. I did not say a type of LEGAL IMMIGRATION. How hard is it to admit your theses actually has no relevance? I'm simply stating the fact that when a person moves from one country to another, this is called immigration. Thus, regardless of how it is done, it is immigration. If rhetoric has blinded you that much, then wow!

If you wish to argur the core of your thesis than here's the point...Legal immigration is a form of immigration. Illegal entry into the USA (aka illegal immigration) is more acurratly called A FEDERAL CRIME.

You apparently don't know the law, illegal immigration is a civil offense.
